If you are new to fly fishing, or want to give it a try, we offer casting lessons as part of the package. Depending on the time of year or kind of fishing, we can practice on wet or dry fly casting.

 If you are new to the sport, have no worries. We will start with the basics and you will be able to cast a floating, sink tip or sinking line with enough expertise to entice a trout or salmon to bite!

Casting is a very gratifying experience. Once you lay that fly out there, and a fish takes it, you know you are in for an exciting time!

We also have tackle for spin-casting, bait fishing, or, if you prefer, bring along your won equipment. 

Playing the fish: As well as casting, there is an art to playing the fish, especially the big salmon we catch in the autumn. Previous customers made use of the tips and techniques we have supplied when playing a 20 pound chum or coho salmon.
